ZHS SCHOLARSHP SEARCH
ZHS Posts local and regional Washington and Yakima Valley Scholarships as they are sent to our school. Keep an eye out for scholarship closing dates! The first step in applying for financial aid is to fill out the FAFSA or WASFA:
FAFSA Free Application for Student Aid: Opens OCTOBER 1, 2025
US citizens and legal permanent US residents applying for scholarships, grants, work study, or loans should complete the FAFSA. The first step is to create an account to receive your FSA ID. Once you've created your account, you can begin your FAFSA application. If you plan to start college in the Fall of 2025, you will need to fill out the 2025-26 FAFSA Form.
Undocumented students, or students who do not qualify for federal financial aid because of immigration status should complete the WASFA. Those who complete the WASFA are applying only for state aid such as the Washington College Grant. It's important to complete the WASFA early, as this aid is limited.
